By counting how many times your leg comes to the top in 10 seconds, then multiplying that number by 6, you can determine your pace. The sum you come up with is the rpm you are currently maintaining.

TIP! Aim for a pace between eighty RPM and one hundred-ten RPM while bicycling. The faster you ride the less strain your knees will be under.

Do not limit yourself to crunches to develop your abs. One study found that 250,000 crunches burns only a single pound of fat. Because of this, crunches alone are not sufficient for a total ab workout. This is why you are going to want to do a wide variety of abdominal workouts.

When working out it is a good idea to count the number of repetitions you need to achieve, but do this by counting backwards from that number. This will help you get a better idea of how many you have left and keep you motivated a lot better than counting up.
